These words came to me one day almost two years ago, during a very hard time in my life; I was struggling with my dreams, work, relationships with others and most importantly, relationship with myself. I was thinking of giving up on everything as it all seemed so pointless no matter how much effort I put in. However, as I the melody of this song came up in my mind and I tried playing it on the piano, it was one of those special moments where I felt hopeful once again. I ended up finishing this song that day, and promised to myself, no matter how hard life may seem at times, I will never think of giving up again.
I wanted to share that special moment with everyone so I decided to record "Porlaew (Enough)". It took almost two years to finish because I kept changing the arrangement and re-recording until I am happy with it now.
Even though that period of my life has long passed, every time I listen to this song, I am reminded of the lessons I learned, how I was capable of overcoming them, and the promises I gave myself to "never give up", as cliche as that may sound. If you are going through hard times and self-doubt, I hope this song can speak to you and remind you, all those feelings will soon fade away if we just hold onto it a little longer :)
